For most people, long term weight loss seems be something that is unattainable.
It seems to be a fair tale that only the elites of the world can achieve.
How frustrating is it to invest into losing weight, all that time, all that effort, all the money – we’re not even talking about the emotional and mental strain yet – only to have the weight loss results last a couple of months or a year at the most?
For us regular people we’re doomed to go through life losing weight only to put it back only to have to lose it again by going on another diet nearer the next event.
I would love to tell you that there is a solution that is simple and easy that you can implement into your life early and you will lose weight forever and ever, Amen.
The reality is, long term weight loss is unachievable. Knowing this is exactly the type of mindset that will help you achieve long term weight loss.
Your health, your weight is a reflection of what you do on a daily basis.
As long as you are doing healthy things you are going to have the results, it may take time to come but it will come.
As soon as you go back to your unhealthy lifestyle your hard work will go away.
In order for you to achieve long term results the goal is to change your daily actions. Your daily habits.
Ultimately making life changes to your behavior is what is going to help you sustain a life that is healthy and body positive.

The good news is that in terms of what changes to do you already know it.
I mean living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated.
All you need is steady activity and a variety of whole unprocessed foods in your diet
(Tip: Look down at your plate and make sure there is a variety of colors on the plat, get 7-9 hours of sleep and take some well deserved “me” time.)
How to make life long changes? Well, that my friend is something that is going to take time.
When I first thought about this it felt kinda of daunting.
Who on earth wants to try and achieve a goal that they know in the back of their mind is something that they could never accomplish?
But after a while of thinking about it I came to realization that the idea that change is never truly achievable is kinda of
refreshing.
Seeing as I am never going to get to a final destination, I am in this for the long haul.
If so, I may as well take my time and do it right.
We all want to be healthy, skinny, fit, pain free – and we wanted it yesterday.
This drive for instant quick results leads us to fall victims to yet another quick diet.
We all know the fate of the crash dieter.
But when you have the idea and have become comfortable with the idea that this is going to be a lifetime of work then, we can start you down the right road of success.
Does this mean that this is going to take time? Absolutely.
Does this mean that you have to put in work and effort? You bet.
Does this mean that you have to make sacrifices in your life? Of course.
At this point the road ahead can seem very daunting.
And it could be. Especially when we try to go along the journey on our own.
One thing I can tell you for sure,
there are going to be good days and there are going to be bad days.
